The best in humanized mice.

Announcing the arrival of mouse models engrafted with human tissues and cells. Imagine how these clinically relevant mouse models can take your drug discovery research to the next level. We utilize best-in-class immunodeficient mice, the NOD scid IL2 receptor gamma chain knockout (NSG), as the platform mice to support the successful engraftment of human immune system or surgically resected tumor tissues.

Humanized NSG mice contain >25% human CD45+ cells in the peripheral blood 12 weeks post engraftment of hematopoietic stem cells. Delayed type hypersensitivity and LPS challenge assays suggest the presence of a functional human immune system. These mice can be used to support research on hematopoiesis, inflammatory disease and human-specific pathogens.

Patient-derived xenograft resource.

Our patient-derived xenograft resource represents a significant improvement over existing cancer models. Tumors engrafted into the NSG mice closely match patient tumors in histology, gene expression and genetic markers. The PDX models (which include tumor gene expression and copy number variation data), developed in collaboration with renowned medical centers throughout the United States, support preclinical efficacy studies and early discovery research.
